Jarrah's Uplink

First off, Comic... if you've ever played Dungeons and Dragons, or watched the Lord of the Rings films, or preferrably both, you must read DM of the Rings. I command it. I cannot stress my admiration for that comic enough.

Now, on to the meat of my raving... Yesterday I attended the Armageddon Expo in melbourne. It was fantastic. I saw a million different, cool, merchandise, comic, and book type things that I would have purchased if I had the money, or for that matter the space to put them in.

However, the highlight of the day was the guest talk by Alan Tudyk, the actor who plays Wash in Firefly and Serenity, the robot in I, Robot, and a heap of other parts. He was hilarious. I'm frankly lost for words.

Afterwards my friends and I went off to have have chips and nachos, and discussed going into a bridal shop and having one of my female friends pretend she was getting married, just to try all the dresses on. Tempting as this was, it was decided we didn't have time, and would have to do it another day.
