Frequently Asked Questions

(or Fragmentary Agitated Quanta, if you're a Bootgate engineer)

Nobody has asked us any questions at all, let alone asked them frequently. However, if you've got a question, go for it

*

Well, this page has been up for a year, and nobody's asked any questions... So I, Jarrah James, will answer a few questions anyway, to alleiviate my boredom

So, is Zartes a furry?
Hell no. He's an alien. Who has fur. Seriously, what sort of question is that? I mean, do you think Chewbacca is a furry? Actually, don't answer that...

How come Dari likes doughnuts so much?
Well, her species respond to sugar much more than we do. That and doughnuts are just plain old Awesome.

Why do you spell it "doughnuts" rather than "donuts"?
Because I'm Australian, and thus use the English spelling, rather than the American spelling. Damned yanks.

Why doesn't Apple appear in the comic more?
Well, frankly, its a really bad oversight on my part. I'm going to fix it in issue two.

Issue two? What?
Oh, well, TransStellar will sort of be in "issues". One comic a week (unless I can speed things up), all of which will be made into a print-on-demand version at the end of an issue. Basically, "issue" just means "story line comprising 50-65 pages of stuff".

Why is the comic mostly in greyscale, but with little bits of colour?
You know how some people are colour-blind? Well, I'm colour-dumb. Most of the time, when I imagine things, I don't give them colours, and in fact find it hard to work out what colour things should be.

But the speech balloons are in colour?
Oh, well, that's mostly so you'll recognise who's talking if the speaker is off-screen. Not that that's come up much, as yet...

What is the air-speed velocity of an unladen swallow?
An African swallow or a European swallow?
